Yogi is a friendly Yao-Guai who meets Crier Breach out in the Mojave. He wears a backpack and seems to enjoy traveling.
Origin[]
Yogi is first encountered in New Vegas Mods: Saving Camp Searchlight - Part 1, sitting just past Jean Sky Diving at a campfire. Next to him, Crier finds a note on a dead body, saying that he is Yogi's old owner, although now since he is dead, he is free. Crier then takes him on board as a companion.
He follows Crier into Camp Searchlight to aid him in assisting the overrun town, taking down ghouls with his powerful paws in the process. When the town is cleared out, he helps Crier with other quests and assist him in carrying supplies. He is alive at the end of the mod review, and Crier takes him and the rest of the gang out for ice cream.
Trivia[]
- Yogi is somewhat of a reference to Yogi Bear, a cartoonish bear who made numerous appearances to comic books and animated television shows.
- He may have asthma, as he breathes very heavily. Crier tried to offer him an inhaler.
- Yogi can be seen as similar to Captain Ballarms , as he walks into barrels and makes loud, crashing sounds.
- Crier mentions that he planned on bringing Yogi along in New Vegas Mods: A Madman's Purpose, but he was too loud, so he decided to leave him behind.
