Oculus was one of the six robots included in the Robots mod and one of the five that accompanied him throughout the three-episode review.
Origin[]
Oculus (originally called Enclave Eyebot) was a broken enclave eyebot found outside Orien Moreno's house to the right. It is not revealed how he was broken. Shortly after being recruited as a companion he received several kisses, a comment about his "ears" (upper rear antennae), and then his name was changed to Oculus.
He was with Al throughout all of the episodes combating Fiends and Legion. However, his travels with Al came to an end literally right at the very end of the third video as they exited the Jaguar Fiends' base, he was suddenly nowhere to be found. Al took surprisingly little notice and wasn't as upset as he was about the losses of Blade Billy and Wine Sauce. He hasn't been seen since.
Trivia[]
- Al gave him the name that he did because he thought people would think Oculus was fancy.
- He doesn't make the same combat jingle as ED-E, because they are two different kinds of eyebot.
- Al had to go to the Fallout Wiki to look up Orien Moreno's name, since he was a vanilla character that Al knew nothing about.
