Doctor Garbage Can is a devious and depraved villain in the underworld of New Vegas, and one of Al's sworn archnemesis. As his name implies, he is a garbage can wearing a hat, making him all the more sinister.
Origin[]
He has, according to Al, been his enemy "for years". It's unclear what forces the not-so-good doctor commands, but it has been speculated that he may be in charge of the barrels that inhabit the wasteland (explaining why Al's companions always make sure to knock them over).
Appearances[]
It is confirmed that he is real, much to Al's surprise, in New Vegas Montages: Farewell New Vegas. He is alligned with the Business Radroaches and the Radios, working for them as an executioner. Doctor GarbageCan is on the council and ultimately decides that Al should be sentenced to death for his crimes against the Radroaches and Radios.
After lurking in the shadows for three years, Doctor GarbageCan makes one last attempt on Al's life, sending a horde of black widow spiders after him, Crier, and Gregory in a defunct Burger Queen. The attack is unsuccessful, however, as Al and Crier are able to fend them off and reach the doctor in the bowels of the fast-food joint, losing Gregory along the way. Al and Crier confront the doctor in the cave, telling him he isn't going to escape them this time. Doctor GarbageCan shrugs off their threats, telling them they'll make nice compost. Al, retorts that he isn't recyclable and unloads his minigun into him, seemingly defeating him. Later on in the video, Doctor GarbageCan returns, watching Al and the gang take off to the Commonwealth in their vertibird, claiming that they may have escaped him again, but that he will have his revenge.
