The Cop Family is a family created by Al in the game The Sims 4, based off of his family in The Sims 3, The Cop Family, who reside in Oasis Springs alongside The Duggarts. They make their first Sims 4 appearance in Sims 4 - Sad Depressed Cop - Part 1. The family, just like its Sims 3 counterpart, started off with just Jimmy and Donny.

Jimmy Cop is an adult sim and is the father of Donny Cop, and Dawkins and New Hampshire Gurpkin. He has the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration. Unlike his Sims 3 counterpart, he likes his son and is reasonably good friends with him. Even though he was interested in getting a job as a police officer or a detective, those career paths were not available, so he ended up joining the Criminal career. In the first episode, he gets into a fight with a hooker who visits his house early in the morning, becoming nemesis's with the woman and eventually fist fighting with her, winning the brawl. In episode 2, Jimmy takes Donny to a bar, where he begins drowning his sorrows in alcohol. He also meets Emma Watson and starts playing practical jokes on her. He is late for his first day of work, getting paid a very small amount of money. He somehow received a promotion later in the episode. In episode 3, he invites a supposed hooker, Lindsay Gurpkin, into his house, who he falls in love with. The two share their first kiss back at his house while Donny watches uncomfortably. Lindsay visits him again in episode 4 and the two proceed to flirt and kiss even more. Just as they are about to woohoo, Lindsay leaves. Later in the episode, while at work, he manages to steal the wallet of a famous actress. In episode 5, he has sex with Lindsay for the first time while trying for a baby. Later, he officially asks Lindsay to be his girlfriend after learning she had become pregnant. In episode 7, Al adds a basement to their house and manages to trap an elderly woman down there, giving her the basic necessities to survive. By episode 8, Al turns the tiny basement into a vault community, able to sustain several people with fabulous luxuries. In episode 9, he finally quits the criminal career and joins the Detective career. During his first day on the job, he conducts an investigation and finds two turkey basters on some criminals. He leaves work satisfied. He then goes to an emporium to spend his new paycheck, purchasing all of the toys in the store. In episode 12, he ages up into an even older adult, although does not become an elder sim.

Donny Cop is a child sim and the son of Jimmy Cop, and older half-brother of Dawkins and New Hampshire. He had the Whiz Kid aspiration, but now has the Big Happy Family aspiration. As a child, he didn't wear shoes when he walked around, although the reason for this is unknown. Just like his Sims 3 counterpart, he enjoys reading, doing his homework, and playing with toys. A particular toy, a talking pony named Condor, is one he really likes messing with. At this point in time, he only has adult friends who frequently call him. In the first episode, it was revealed it was Donny's birthday, although Al chose not to age him up yet. In episode 2, Donny goes with Jimmy to a bar, where he begins dancing in front of strangers and making friends with the bartender. He falls asleep on one of the couches a few minutes later. Several minutes later in the episode, Donny gets in a fight with a hooker just like his dad; this time, a goth one. He ages up into a teenager later in the episode, getting a pudgy face. In episode 4, although given the option to do a challenging assignment for one of his classes to learn something new, he decides to do an easy assignment instead to ensure a good grade. As expected, he gets A. In the same episode, he is also given all of the household chores, such as repairing toilets and making dinner, as Jimmy is spending all of his time with Lindsay. Later, he visits the RLF household and after meeting Al Breach, starts up the fireplace in an attempt to burn the house down. After failing, he goes home. In episode 6, all of his friends think his new mom is hot, to which he finds very disturbing, and then agrees. It is revealed in episode 8 that Donny is being bullied and that he decides to finally confront them. Unfortunately, this goes poorly, and it just makes his bullies madder. In episode 9, he kills all of his self-confidence by taking a horrible selfie down in the basement. He also made a cake for his step-mom and celebrated her birthday with her. In episode 10, it was revealed that he was one of the top students at his school. In episode 12, he tried to make two sandwiches at the same time on the stove in the house. The kitchen then catches on fire due to his stupidity, although is soon extinguished by Jimmy. In episode 13, he contracts a cold and is forced to order medicine online to cure his illness.

Lindsay Gurpkin is the girlfriend of Jimmy Cop and a supposed hooker. After first meeting him in episode 3, the two fell in love, which lead to Jimmy asking her to move in to their house in episode 6, as he got her pregnant in the previous episode. Her dream is to be a Master Mixologist and drink a lot of alcohol. Despite being pregnant, she bought a bar so she could improve her mixology skill and also get really wasted. In episode 7, she goes into labor and gives birth to twins, Dawkins and New Hampshire, at the hospital. She also starts work on a children's book titled "Bleeding Macaroni". In episode 8, after giving birth, he moves Lindsay to the vault in the basement along with her children, where she and several other individuals now live. In episode 9, he frees Lindsay from the basement on her birthday, where she ages into an elder sim. She invites Duke Nukem over to celebrate. Her freedom is temporary, however, as Al locks both her and Duke back in the basement again. Her son, Camron Gurpkin, also becomes trapped in the basement with her in episode 12. It is also revealed in that episode that Lindsay still has the ability to breast feed her children despite being an elder. In episode 13, she contemplated about her life up until this point, how much her children annoy her, and how much she enjoys pancakes. She also expressed a dislike of her son, Camron, and states that she wants him to drown in the bathtub. Later, she taught Dawkins about the wonderful world of drugs.

She remains here for 5 episodes until episode 12, where she, along with her sister, ages into a child. Both develop the "Social Butterfly" aspiration. The two immediately start talking about "the world above" and how they wish to travel there someday. In episode 13, Al puts her into a bear costume so she can scare every other vault resident. She also learned of crack cocaine and the many uses of drugs.

- When Al began playing as the household, the house was completely empty. He added a few necessities, but left the house mostly empty because he wanted the family to struggle.
- The Duggarts actually live right next door to the Cop Family.
- Whenever Al swears, he replaces the word with a clip of him saying "Condor", similar to the way he used to use a clip of him saying "Jameson".
- Apparently, Lindsay knows Duke Nukem and is good friends with him.
- Technically, the surnames of Dawkins and New Hampshire should be Gurpkin-Cop, as Jimmy and Lindsay aren't married.
