Chugalugs is one of the six robots included in the mod Robot, and one of the five that accompanied Al during his "quest".
Origin[]
Chugalugs (originally called Nuka-Cola Security) is a Nuka-Cola Security protectron that was discovered in a shack at Cottonwood Cove.
Appearances[]
Chugalugs only appears in Fallout New Vegas Mods: Robot! - Part 2 and 3. He is extremely slow and struggled to keep up with the rest of the group throughout the entire three-episode review. He often lingered so far behind, Al would have to look through a sniper rifle to see him. When he did keep up, he kept his distance. The only time he truly got to show his worth in battle was when he was cramped inside the Jaguar Fiends' base.
He, along with Officer Gumlee, were the only survivors of the five robots accompanying Al, with Wine Sauce and Blade Billy being killed in action, and Oculus disappearing mysteriously as they left the base. At the very end of the review, Officer Gumlee was sent back to Westside, and Chugalugs was sent back to Cottonwood Cove to live his life the way he wished to.
Trivia[]
- Al asked himself if the two robots would ever find peace someday, and then came to the conclusion of "presumably, yes".
- He also wondered if Chugalugs would ever arrive back home because he was so slow, and it was such a long distance.
- Despite only Legion occupying the area he was found in, Al set his him to be aggressive only to Powder Gangers.
- Because he is a Nuka-Cola version of the protectron, Al believes he should have at least 15 sodas on him at all times, in case he gets "parched".
